The Pico Cutera Enlighten breaks up your tattoo ink into tiny dust-like particles using ultra-fast laser pulses, allowing your body to naturally clear the ink away — safely, effectively, and with minimal downtime.

Most clients need between 4 to 10 sessions.
Some very dense or multi-colored tattoos may require 10+ sessions.
Treatments are spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart to allow the skin to heal and the body to clear ink.
Each treatment breaks down more ink gradually. The body’s lymphatic system needs time to flush out the shattered particles after each session. The Pico Enlighten allows faster clearing than older lasers, but we still work with your body's natural process.

Tattoo Removal Pre-Care:
Avoid sun exposure, tanning, or self-tanners on the area for at least 2 weeks prior.
Do not apply any creams, lotions, or makeup on the area on the day of treatment.
Avoid blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, alcohol) 24 hours before if possible (unless prescribed).
Let us know if you have any active infections, cold sores, or skin conditions in the area.
Stay well hydrated — your body clears ink via the lymphatic system.
Tattoo Removal Post-Care:
Apply a gentle healing ointment (e.g. Aquaphor) as advised.
Keep the area clean, dry, and protected for 48 hours.
Avoid sun exposure and wear SPF on the area for the full course of treatments.
Avoid hot tubs, pools, saunas, and excessive sweating for 48 hours.
Do not pick, scratch, or rub the treated area while healing.
Minor redness, swelling, blistering or scabbing is normal — contact us if you have any concerns.
Your skin is doing most of the work between sessions. Our job is to shatter the ink; your job is to protect your skin and keep it healthy while your body clears the particles.
