New Clients

Welcome to The Aesthetic Skin Clinic — we're so glad you're here! Before your first appointment, there are a few things we ask to make sure your experience is safe, personalised, and as enjoyable as possible.

  • All new clients are required to complete a health and skin consultation form prior to their appointment. You'll receive this via SMS or email after booking — please fill it in at your earliest convenience.
  • Please arrive a few minutes early for your first visit so we have time to chat through your skin goals and any concerns before we get started.
  • A deposit may be required to secure your booking. This will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Please note: All intake and consent forms must be completed before your appointment begins. Incomplete forms may result in a shortened appointment or rescheduling.

Booking & Appointments

Appointments can be booked online at any time through our booking system. We do our best to accommodate your preferred time and clinician — if you have a specific request, feel free to reach out directly.

  • You will receive an SMS and email reminder ahead of your appointment — please check these as they may include important preparation instructions.
  • All consultation and consent forms must be completed prior to your appointment. These will be sent to you after booking.
  • If you have any questions about which treatment is right for you, we're always happy to help — just get in touch before you book.

Cancellation Policy

We understand life can be unpredictable, and we'll always do our best to work with you. To keep things fair for our team and other clients on the waitlist, we do have the following cancellation terms in place.

  • 24 hours' notice required — please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment at no charge.
  • Same-day cancellations will incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled appointment value. If you hold a package, one session may be deducted instead.
  • No-shows (failure to attend without notice) will be charged at 100% of the appointment fee.
Reminder: You'll receive SMS and email reminders before your appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so as early as possible — this allows us to offer the time to another client who may be waiting.
Please note: Cancellations via social media (Instagram, Facebook, DMs or comments) are not accepted and will not be considered valid. All cancellations must be made by phone, SMS, or email directly to the clinic.

Late Arrivals

We always do our very best to accommodate you if you're running a little behind — we know things happen! However, out of respect for the clients booked after you, we're unable to run overtime.

  • If you arrive late, we will do our best to complete as much of your treatment as possible within the remaining time.
  • In some cases, we may need to shorten your treatment or, if there is insufficient time, reschedule your appointment entirely.
  • Late arrivals that result in a shortened or rescheduled appointment will still be charged at the full appointment rate.
We recommend arriving 5 minutes early, especially for your first visit or if you have forms to complete.

Treatment Preparation

Certain treatments — particularly our laser therapies and deeper chemical peels — require specific skin preparation in the lead-up to your appointment. This is non-negotiable and exists entirely for your safety and to ensure the best possible results.

  • Some treatments require a preparation protocol of up to 2 weeks prior, which may include the use of specific skincare products or avoidance of certain actives, sun exposure, or other treatments.
  • Your preparation instructions will be provided at the time of booking or during your consultation. Please read them carefully and follow them as directed.
  • If preparation requirements have not been met, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment for your safety. This will be treated as a late cancellation.
Not sure what to do before your treatment? Your appointment reminder will include prep instructions, and our team is always happy to answer questions ahead of your visit.

Test Patching & Skin Checks

The safety of our clients is our absolute priority. Certain treatments require a test patch or an up-to-date skin check before we can proceed — these are non-negotiable requirements and are in place to protect your health and wellbeing.

  • Test patching for vascular lesion treatments must be completed 24–48 hours prior to your appointment. If a test patch has not been performed within this window, we will be unable to proceed with treatment on the day.
  • A skin check within the last 3 months is required before any treatment involving pigmentation removal or vascular lesion removal. This must be performed by a qualified medical professional.
  • If you are unsure whether your skin check is current or whether a test patch is required for your treatment, please contact us before your appointment.
Please plan ahead: If you have not yet had your skin check or test patch, book these well in advance of your treatment date. Failure to meet these requirements will result in your appointment being rescheduled, and cancellation fees may apply.

Children in Clinic

We love families, and we want to keep all little ones safe! Our clinic contains medical-grade machinery and equipment that presents OHS risks to young children — so we do ask that you take note of the following.

  • For the safety of your child and our team, young children who require supervision are not permitted in the treatment areas of the clinic.
  • Children who are old enough to sit quietly and independently in the waiting area are welcome to accompany you.
  • If you're unsure whether your child can attend, please contact us before your appointment so we can find the best arrangement for you.
We appreciate your understanding — this policy is in place to protect the safety and comfort of all clients and our team.

Refunds Policy

We take pride in the quality of our treatments and always strive to deliver outstanding results. As such, we do not offer refunds on completed treatments, purchased packages, or products, with one exception.

  • Refunds are not available for completed treatments, packages, gift vouchers, or products under any circumstances, except where required by law.
  • A refund may be considered in the event of a medically documented reason that prevents you from receiving or completing treatment. This requires a written letter from your treating medical practitioner.
  • We are committed to your satisfaction — if you have any concerns about your treatment outcome, please contact us and we will do our best to make it right.
Australian Consumer Law: We fully abide by the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Your privacy is important to us. Any personal and health information you share with us is collected for the purpose of providing you with safe, tailored treatments and will be handled with the utmost care and discretion.

  • Your information is stored securely and will never be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
  • Before and after photos are only taken with your explicit consent and are never shared publicly without your written permission.
  • You have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us directly.
